places, sacred and profane

Beginning in 2016, I partnered with a sociologist and an architectural historian to document sacred spaces hidden within otherwise secular institutions around greater Boston. The project (seen in its totality here) has been remarkably well received and is currently touring the region in a series of lectures and print exhibitions. The project reminded me how much I enjoy finding and photographing interesting landscapes, buildings and interiors. In this gallery, I'm sharing some of the favorites I've made over the years that present these environments in all their  grandeur and banality. This gallery is under construction and will be updated regularly.
